Reading an MCG seat number

The seating guide uses M for Level 1, N for Level 2, P for Level 2A in the Shane Warne Stand or Level 3 in the Members Reserve, and Q for Level 4. Check the official map alongside the stand and gate printed on your ticket.

Richmond or Jolimont for the ’G

Richmond and Jolimont serve different approaches to the ground. Choose your route with your entrance in mind. The MCG’s transport guide also covers accessible routes and the G-Train mobility service; check its current arrangements if you need assistance.

General admission and covered seats

General-admission areas change between events. Use the match’s own seating information rather than assuming the same bays are available every week. A roof above a section does not guarantee protection from rain or sun from every direction.

Planning more than one game

Each match card is a separate event. If two games share a date, check each event’s ticket and admission conditions before planning both. First bounce is the start of play, not the time gates open.
