First bounce and coverage times

The fixture time is the start of play. TV coverage can begin earlier, and some programmes are delayed. Open a match to check its viewing options and any announced broadcast start time.

Free-to-air, streaming and subscriptions

Set your Viewing region before checking coverage. Match pages distinguish free-to-air television, free streaming and subscription services. Availability can differ between states and regional areas, so use the linked provider’s guide for your location.

Download the 2027 AFL fixture or add it to your calendar

Take your current selection with you: print a PDF, open a CSV in a spreadsheet, or import a calendar file into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. Games without a confirmed date stay out of calendar files.

AFL fixture 2027: common questions

When does the 2027 AFL season start?

The 2027 AFL season starts on Wed 17 Mar 2027. Open Round 1 for each match’s first bounce, ground and Australian viewing options. Choose your Display time above to see start times on your own clock.

Has the full 2027 AFL fixture been released?

Why are some AFL fixture times marked TBC?

TBC means to be confirmed. An opponent and ground can be announced before the day or first-bounce time is locked in. Check the match again before booking travel; a listing without a date cannot yet be added to a calendar.

Are these AFL start times local to me?

Times use the city selected in Display time, with AEST, AEDT or the relevant local abbreviation beside them. Change that selection for your location. A match’s detail page also shows the date and time at the ground, including daylight-saving differences.

Which AFL games are on free-to-air TV?

Choose your Viewing region and tick Free coverage only to find listed free options. Free-to-air TV and free streaming are labelled separately on match pages. Availability varies by match and region; a missing listing does not mean a game is unavailable.

Can I download or add my club’s fixture to a calendar?

Yes. Filter by club, then download your selection as a PDF, spreadsheet-friendly CSV or calendar file. You can also subscribe to one or more clubs in your calendar app. A downloaded file stays as it was; a subscription picks up changes when your app refreshes.

How do I find my club’s bye round?

The bye list names the clubs sitting out each published bye round. A bye is a scheduled week off, not a cancelled match. It is shown separately from the games so you can plan around your club’s break.
