A4 printing guide

Choose your A4 layout

Portrait is a useful default for a club or short run of games. Landscape provides more width for match names, venues and viewing details. Longer selections continue onto additional pages, keeping each match together rather than squeezing the season into tiny text.

Print the fixture shown in the preview

Apply your filters and paper layout first. Print fixture opens your browser's print dialogue; Save as PDF creates a browser PDF. Download PDF creates the ready-made file directly. Both use the same selected matches, although their page counts can differ.

Make the page easy to read

Choose A4 and the matching orientation in the print dialogue. Use the preview to check margins and scaling. Turn off browser headers and footers if you do not want the address and browser date printed. Text remains readable in black and white without coloured backgrounds.

Before you head to the ground

Printed times reflect the selected city and each match's daylight-saving rules. TBC means a date or first bounce has not been confirmed. Cancelled or postponed matches show their status and previous start where available. Check match details again before travelling.

Printable AFL fixture questions

Can I print the whole AFL season on one page?

This tool prioritises readable text and keeps each game together. The full fixture uses several A4 pages. Choose one club, round or date range for a shorter printout.

Why is my printed fixture different from the PDF?

Browser fonts, printer margins and scaling can change pagination. The selected matches and their details are the same. The direct PDF has fixed A4 dimensions and repeated column headings.

Can I print only upcoming games or results?

Yes. Choose Up next or Completed, then apply any other filters. Completed games show confirmed scores and the most recently finished games first.

Will the guide and filter controls be printed?

No. The print layout includes the fixture, selection summary, time zone and generation date. Navigation, filters, buttons and these help sections are hidden.
