Subscribe for changes; import for a one-off copy

Adding the address as a subscription lets your calendar app check for later fixture changes. Downloading and importing an ICS file makes a snapshot. Adding the same file repeatedly can create duplicates; remove an old import before switching to a subscription.

What appears in your AFL calendar?

Dated matches include both clubs, the round, ground and a link to match details. A match involving two selected clubs appears once. Your calendar app converts timed events to its chosen time zone. Date-only games are tentative all-day entries; undated match-ups wait until a date is published.

How quickly will a changed fixture appear?

Your calendar app controls when it checks the subscription. Changes are not instant; some apps can take more than a day. If a match looks out of date, compare it with the match page and check your app's subscription refresh settings. This is a fixture calendar, not a live score or alert service.

Why do match events last three hours?

Timed calendar entries reserve a three-hour block for planning. That is not a confirmed final-siren time. Allow extra time for travel or post-match plans. Notifications, if wanted, are managed in your own calendar app.

AFL calendar subscription questions

Can I follow more than one AFL club?

Yes. Choose Selected clubs, tick the clubs you follow and update your calendar link. The combined subscription includes a match only once, even when two of your clubs play each other.

Why are some games missing from my calendar?

A calendar entry needs a date. Match-ups still awaiting a date are counted separately here and will be eligible once the date is published. A club subscription includes its confirmed finals match-ups when available; it does not include predicted finalists.

Why is a game at the wrong time on my phone?

Check the time zone used by your calendar app. Timed entries carry an exact instant, so the app can display the local time, including daylight saving. An all-day entry means the first bounce is still TBC.

Do I need to subscribe again after changing my clubs?

Yes. Your old address continues to follow its original clubs. Remove the old subscription in your calendar app and add the new address shown here to avoid overlapping calendars.

How do I unsubscribe or remove duplicates?

Remove the subscribed AFL calendar using your app's calendar settings. If you imported files instead, remove those imported events or their separate calendar. Removing a subscription does not automatically remove events from an earlier import.

Will this link include the 2028 season?

No. These subscriptions are for the 2027 season. Use the relevant season's calendar when it becomes available. You do not need an account on this site.
