Plan your visit to UTAS Stadium

York Park and UTAS Stadium

University of Tasmania Stadium, UTAS Stadium and York Park describe this Launceston ground. Aurora Stadium is an older name you may encounter. It is a different destination from Hobart’s Bellerive ground.

A stadium changing in stages

Official redevelopment updates describe completed work alongside further planned stages. Do not use a future capacity or finished-project image to infer which stands or gates will be open for your match.

Check the current seating and access plan

Use the stadium and host club’s event information with your ticket. If you need step-free entry or accessible seating, confirm the current route and arrangements, as construction-stage information can change.

Plan a Launceston matchday

Use the Invermay Road location to plan the journey, then the event’s gate instructions for arrival. Confirm the start before arranging onward travel; a time marked TBC remains unconfirmed even when the opponent is known.

UTAS Stadium: matchday questions

What does UTAS Stadium stand for?

It is the shortened name of University of Tasmania Stadium, also known as York Park in Launceston.

Is the final redevelopment capacity the matchday capacity now?

Not necessarily. Work is staged, so use current event seating availability rather than a future project total.

Can construction change my route into UTAS Stadium?

Check the latest event access information and ticket instructions, particularly if you need a step-free approach.

Is a UTAS Stadium match part of the Hobart fixture?

No. UTAS Stadium is in Launceston. Hobart matches use their own venue and city pages.
