AFL Finals Bracket 2027

Follow the road from the wildcard finals to the premiership. Each place shows who qualifies, where the winner goes and what happens to the loser. Confirmed teams and results appear as the finals unfold.

Match times use Melbourne; TV listings follow VIC - Melbourne. Programme coverage can begin before the first bounce.

Choose a game to highlight its possible routes to the Grand Final. Winning and second-chance routes are both included. This is not a prediction.

Using the finals bracket

How to read the finals bracket

Choose Highlight path beside a game to follow its possible routes to the Grand Final. A qualifying final has both a winning route and a second-chance route. The highlight is a guide to the draw, not a prediction.

Why wildcard winners are re-seeded

The two wildcard winners are compared using their original ladder positions. The higher-ranked winner becomes seventh seed and plays sixth in EF2; the lower-ranked winner becomes eighth seed and plays fifth in EF1. Either wildcard game can feed either elimination final.

Confirmed results and the next round

A winning result identifies the club that advances. The next game still shows its qualification places until its actual match-up is confirmed. A level or incomplete score does not identify a winner.

AFL bracket questions

Can I print the AFL finals bracket?

Use Print bracket and choose your printer or Save as PDF in your browser. The full draw and its winner/loser routes remain visible. You can also use your browser's Print command.

Why are some teams shown as ladder positions?

Those are qualification places, not predicted teams. First to tenth refer to the final home-and-away ladder. Club names appear when the finals match-up is confirmed.

Which semi-final follows each elimination final?

EF1's winner meets QF1's loser in SF1. EF2's winner meets QF2's loser in SF2. The semi-final winners then cross over: SF1 feeds PF2 and SF2 feeds PF1.
